Admissions


Phase I ( Student)Student should send scanned copies of the following to Lester B Pearson’s email ID: ipdadmissions@lbpsb.qc.ca or to our agent.
  • Completed and signed application to study in The Lester B. Pearson International Career Programs
  • Signed Lester B. Pearson International Career Programs refund and cancellation policy for International studies
  • Notarized copies of Certificate/Diploma/Degree of the highest level of education achieved (documents should be in English or translated to English)
  • Photocopy of the proof of English proficiency (valid IELTS)
  • Notarized copies of the transcripts (documents should be in English or translated to English)
  • Documents supporting work experience, if any
  • Photocopy of the passport's bio-data page (passport should be valid)
Phase II (Lester B Pearson International Career Programs)
  • Lester B. Pearson International Career Programs will review the application and supporting documents. If the applicant is accepted, the Lester B. Pearson International Career Programs will email the applicant's pre-admission letter along with necessary information.
  • If the applicant is not accepted, an email will be sent to the Student notifying the rejection.
Phase III (Student) The Student should forward the tuition fees to the college. The bank details will be provided to all the students who are eligible to obtain admission. Students should ensure at the time of wire transfer to include their name and Date of Birth in the wire transfer details to enable easy tracking of their funds.

Phase IV (Lester B. Pearson International Career Programs)Upon receiving the first semester tuition fee the company or Institution will send an email to the agent / student with the following:
  • Letter of Acceptance
  • Fee receipt indicating the amount received
Phase V ( Student)
  • Fill the Quebec Acceptance Application (CAQ) form. Student can seek clarifications related to CAQ by contacting the college.
  • Fill the payment form and pay $109.00(Canadian Dollars, One Hundred and Nine Only) processing fee to Ministre des Finances du Québec.
  • Enclose documents as per the CAQ checklist
  • Post the package to Lester B. Pearson International Career Programs
Phase VI (Lester B. Pearson International Career Programs)
  • Will verify the CAQ file
  • Forward it to Quebec Immigration office
  • Upon receiving the CAQ result we will forward it to the Student / Agent (based on from where it was received).
Note: Phase III, IV and V can be done in one step to expedite the process.

Phase VII ( Student)
  • Student is ready to apply for visa. Lester B. Pearson International Career Programs or its designated agent can guide the student with the visa process.
Note: Phase VI, VII can be done simultaneously but lodging the application should be with CAQ to expedite the process.

Phase VIII (Lester B. Pearson International Career Programs) Provided that Lester B. Pearson International Career Programs has received a notice to arrange for airport pickup two weeks prior to arrival in Canada, Lester B. Pearson International Career Programs will arrange for the pickup and drop the students at their destination. If the Agent or the Student fail to provide two weeks advance notice, pickup cannot be arranged.

Phase IX (Refund Process)In case student's visa application is rejected, student has to submit a refund request in writing to the Lester B. Pearson International Career Programs. The Institution will review the request and process refund subject to the following conditions:
  • The student must present their original passport to the Agent with the original refusal letter from the Canadian Consulate/ Canadian Embassy.
  • The Agent will peruse the entire passport and the rejection letter to ensure student has a legitimate claim for a refund.
  • The Agent will then make copies of all the pages of the passport along with the rejection letter from the Canadian Consulate.
  • The Student will forward original Letter of Acceptance, and Receipt and forward all the documents to in step 1c and 1d to The Lester B. Pearson International Career Programs.
If the refund request is based on any reason other than refusal of Student Visa the Student is requested to do the following:
  • Present their original passport to them with proof(s) to support their claim.
  • The Agent will peruse the passport to ensure that the student has a legitimate claim for a refund.
  • The Agent will then make copies of all the pages of the passport.
  • The Agent will collect the original Letter of Acceptance and Fee Receipt and forward all the documents in step 2c and 2d to Edu Edge.
In case Student processes refund by directly contacting The Lester B. Pearson International Career Programs the Student is requested to do the following:
  • Email all pages of their original passport to the Institution to support their claim.
  • The Institution will peruse the passport to ensure that the student has a legitimate claim for a refund.
